Downtown Arts &
Entertainment District The newly
revitalized historic downtown starts a 3 minute walk from
our home! There are many interesting and unique shops &
boutiques, and some wonderful restaurants including Paris Crepes Bistro, Mide Bistro & Taps Brewhouse &
Grill We keep menus for these restaurants and others at
the B&B for guests to view anytime. Other great reasons to dine &
shop here: Avoid the tourism prices, parking is
cheap (and free on weekends
and after 5pm), and there's free live entertainment on the street
all summer long!
The
Falls! -3 min drive, 25 min walk,
shuttle service available-
What everyone comes here to
see! The Falls. They are definitely beautiful and
magnificent. If you've never seen them you may find the
most amazing part is the fact that you can stand at the wall
right beside them and watch where they go over, you really do
feel their power. But if that's not quite close enough for
you, you can ride the famous Maid of
the Mist, and take the Journey Behind the Falls. Both of these
attractions, and others are available with a Great Gorge Adventure Pass, which we sell
for $40 each, or you can buy online.

Clifton Hill - 4 min
drive, 25 min walk, shuttle service available-
If
you're looking for tacky, tourist fun, check out Clifton Hill,
for all sorts of crazy entertainment including wax museums,
haunted houses, retaurants, souvenier shops, karaoke bars and
more!
Lundy's
Lane - 8 min drive, 45 min walk,
shuttle service available -
The historic area
where one of the most brutal battles of the war of 1812 took
place is now a street known for it's tourism and restaurants,
especially of you're looking for great Italian food!
Check out Napoli Restaurante & Pizzeria and
Carppaccio for some delicious
traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine.
And if
you're looking for something less fancy and more fun (and can
be delivered to the B&B), check out the place all us
locals love for great food, large quanitites and a great
price, The Flying Saucer Restaurant.
Lundy's
lane also features great shopping, including the Canada
One Factory Outlet Mall
Into history, or Ghost
hunting? Check out the Drummond Hill Cemetery,
where the battle of Lundy's Lane took place!
Niagara-on-the-lake Only a 25 minute drive from our home, along the
beautiful scenic Niagara Parkway, experience the wine that
Ontario has to offer with free tours & tasting, beautiful shops &
boutiques in the historic downtown, great live theatre at The Shaw
Festival, and war of 1812 history at Fort
George. Many people consider Niagara-on-the-lake a
must-do day trip when coming to visit the
Falls.
